Securboration Part of Team Awarded Knowledge Discovery and Dissemination Contract

Securboration is part of a team awarded a Knowledge Discovery and Dissemination (KDD) contract by AFRL Dayton. This project will develop new and novel ways for analysts to quickly produce actionable intelligence using information from multiple data sources. CUBRC (www.cubrc.org) is the prime contractor while Securboration brings its valuable experience with applying semantic technologies.

Securboration awarded Air Force Reserve Command Semantic Enterprise Architecture Development

Securboration was awarded a follow-on contract to continue development of the Semantic Enterprise Architecture (EA) for the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) at Robins AFB, Warner Robins, GA. The semantic EA utilizes an architecturally driven approach to manage AFRC’s current command systems IT portfolio with the objective of transforming current stovepipe IT systems to a loosely coupled, standards based, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). This award is a continuation of the existing 5 year IDIQ contract with the Air Force Research Lab in Rome, NY.

Air Force awards Securboration Phase 2 for SOAMS

The Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) has awarded Securboration a Phase II $750,000 contract to further develop the Semantic Ontology-Assisted Matching System (SOAMS) to facilitate interoperability in net-centric operations. SOAMS will minimize a significant current roadblock to interoperability – namely a lack of semantic understanding of the types of information that need to be exchanged among systems in a net-centric environment. SOAMS uses Securboration’s Semantic Grounding Mechanism to provide a common understanding of a systems capabilities and data requirements that is based on semantics instead of rigid syntax. This enables automated, intelligent comparison and alignment of data exchanged among systems. The results of this research will reduce the manual effort and time required for disparate systems to interoperate and help DoD move closer to achieving the ultimate net-centric vision.
